AFA Mission Statement
We are a mission committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and following His instruction to “Go Tell!” to the uttermost parts of the world.
Avenues used to complete this mission:
- AFA Christian Academy in Uganda. The nursery and primary school currently ministers to 320 students with a staff of 35 and provides a high-quality education and the knowledge of how to have a relationship with Jesus Christ through daily discipleship.
- Threads of Hope sewing clinic in Uganda that teaches marketable skills to vulnerable single women to give them hope for the future.
- A weekly feeding program to street children in Uganda. AFA feeds 350 children every Saturday along with ministering to them by sharing God’s word.
- Sharing testimony in the U.S. at churches, jails, prisons, halfway houses and schools. Amy shares her “Grace Story” to thousands every year.
Amy Compston, the face of Amy For Africa, is a wife and mother of four. She and her husband, Chris, are full time missionaries of the Amy For Africa mission. AFA is a federally approved 501(c)3 organization. AFA was founded in May 2013.
