AFA Mission Statement
We are a mission committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and following His instruction to “Go Tell!” to the uttermost parts of the world.
Avenues used to complete this mission:
- AFA Christian Academy in Uganda. The nursery and primary school that currently ministers to 80 students with a staff of five teachers provides a high-quality education and the knowledge of how to have a relationship with Jesus Christ through daily discipleship.
- Threads of Hope sewing clinic in Uganda that teaches marketable skills to vulnerable single women to give them hope for the future.
- A weekly feeding program to street children in Uganda. AFA partners with Silent Whispers to feed 350 children every Saturday along with ministering to them by sharing God’s word.
- Sharing testimony in the U.S. at churches, jails, prisons, halfway houses and schools. Amy shares her “Grace Story” to thousands every year.
Amy Compston, a 35-year-old wife and mother of four, is a fulltime missionary and the face of the Amy For Africa mission. AFA is a federally approved 501(c)3 organization. AFA was founded in May 2013.
