Ambiance Salon, 3045 Winchester Avenue in Ashland, will be having a fundraiser for Amy For Africa on Friday. It’s a 24-hour Hair-A-Thon to raise money for the mission.
ASHLAND, Ky. – Ambiance Salon’s 24-hour Hair-A-Thon for Amy For Africa will be Friday.
The salon will not charge for services, but a minimum $10 donation to Amy For Africa is suggested. Beautician Shannon Luther is hoping the event will raise about $1,000 for the mission.
The event will start at 7 a.m. Friday and run until 7 a.m. Saturday. Walk-FM will be doing a live remote from the salon from 10 a.m. until noon on Friday. Ambiance Salon is located at 3045
Winchester Avenue in Ashland.
Shannon requests appointments, but walk-ins are welcome. Appointments are being booked for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the service. To make an appointment call (606) 324-6171.
