MOYO, Uganda – The lifeblood of any school is its teachers. The same is true for the Penne Paris Nursery Schools here.

Our private schools of United Christian Expedition get no government support. Teachers are supported completely through donations. You can adopt one of the teachers for only $20 a week or $75 a month by clicking this link.

Teachers in the PPNS are college trained in Uganda. They receive far less than the public school teachers and make do with whatever supplies we can provide them. Rose Hill Christian School students and teachers and Twin Forks Nazarene Church’s women’s group gave us boxes of supplies to give to schools on the Amy For Africa Mission to Moyo trip in May.

The students are receiving a top-flight education with the ability to speak in two languages by the age of five years old. The long-term vision is to continue adding grades but that means more teachers and more funding necessary.

The schools are located in the rural districts of Moyo and the students who attend simply would not get an education without them. They are taught God’s word – that’s the textbook. We currently have five schools but more and more are asking us to come to their area.

These areas have so much pride in their schools and the students are learning all the basis skills.

Help us make a difference with a small donation.
