ASHLAND, Ky. – Keisha Estep started running as a way to connect with her father and to get healthy.
It was a good combination.
Now she can added running as a way of making a difference in the lives of children in Moyo, Uganda.
Estep has joined Team Amy For Africa’s runners world after being “inspired” by the organization.
Estep, who is 26, has been a Christian since she was 9 years old. She was raised in the church and has always been inspired by God’s word. Keisha saw something in the Amy For Africa mission that moved her.
“I decided to join Team AFA because the ministry that AFA has put together really inspired me to give back,” she said. “God has really blessed me in my life and I want to show His love and share His word to others.”
Estep has worked the past eight years at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital and she has been a member of Unity Baptist Church for two years. Her husband, Wes, was recently saved at the church. They have two children, Olivia, 5, and Jace, 6 months.
