Taking Amy For Africa across the country in 2014

Amy For Africa marathon runners Amy and Chris Compston embarked on a challenge back in April to run eight marathons in eight different states in eight months.

The mission was completed in November when Amy competed in the New York City Marathon where she was among the top 10 percent of finishers overall. The journey started with Amy’s run in the Boston Marathon in April. She also ran in the Chicago Marathon in October. Those three marathons — New York, Boston and Chicago — are among six world marathons.
